TCL WITH ROBUST RESULTS ON WEEK NO. 40 2014-10-08 Another week over 14.000 TEU and another day very close to 3,000 TEU. So it can be summarised in a few words what was week no. 40 at the Leixões Container Terminal. In fact, between September 29 and October 5, the TCL received and operated 28 ships, having unloaded/loaded at the quay 9,232 containers, equivalent to 14,084 TEU. The best day of the week, in the volumes handled, was Saturday, October 4, when eight ships were operated and handled 1,904 containers, equivalent to 2,929 TEU. In the week that marks the entry in the last quarter of this year 2014, the Leixões Container Terminal still handled at the container yard over 8,548 containers among the 4.084 arriving and the 4.464 leaving, by land. |
