TCL SPONSORS THE PORT LEIXÕES 1st RACE 2014-09-17 It is next Saturday, September 20, that the Port of Leixões celebrates its "Day". As usual in that day, the Port opens its doors to the public, allowing all who wishes, to know a little better about the port’s activity and to take advantage of the infrastructure space. This year, however, the Port of going further in their communion with the surrounding community, opening its gates and its internal road to conduct a proof of athletics. It will be the 1st Race of the Port of Leixões that will lead the athletes (or walkers in the case of the Walk, also in the program) straddling the route that surrounds, internally, the port, since the northern entrance, next to the suspension bridge, in Leça da Palmeira side, to the south entrance at the other end of the bridge, in Matosinhos, and back, traversing the terminals for general cargo and bulk cargo and the South Container Terminal. It will be an absolute premiere, which again confirm the excellent integration of the Port of Leixões in the community and in the environment. TCL partners with APDL in another initiative that says the Port’s pioneering, by being one of the sponsors of the race. |
