TCL PRESENTS PROPOSAL TO OPERATE THE CONCESSION OF FERROL CONTAINER TERMINAL 2011-05-13 TCL-Leixoes Container Terminal, SA, through its subsidiary CONTAINER TERMINAL FERROL, SL, submitted a proposal to the international tender for the concession of Ferrol Container Terminal. The invitation for tenders was done by Autoridad Portuaria de Ferrol-San Cibrao and concerns the concession of the container terminal in the outer port of Ferrol, for a period of 35 years. The public opening of the tenders will be held on May 20, 2011, by 12:00 am, at the Autoridad Portuaria de Ferrol-San Cibrao premises. The Port of Ferrol is located in the northwest of the Iberian Peninsula, province of La Coruna, Galicia. The Container Terminal Ferrol in the final phase of expansion will have an area of 29 hectares with a quay wall of 780 meters, expandable up to 1.460 meters and offers the possibility for berthing vessels up to 20 meters draft. Ferrol Container Terminal SL, is a company incorporated under Spanish law, established in Naron (A Coruña), whose capital is 100% owned by TCL. |
