TCL PAYS 28% OF THE RENT IN PORT CONCESSIONS

In the first quarter of the year, TCL paid to the State (represented by APDL) 4.6 million euros by the Leixões Container Terminal concession.
In comparison with the equivalent last period, the rents paid by TCL rose 9%. And reached 28% of total revenues paid by all concessionaires.
Between January and March, the port concessions paid to the State total revenues of 16.3 million euros, 7% higher than the 15.3 million euros in the first quarter of 2013.
These figures are in the most recent report of UTAP - Technical Project Monitoring Unit of the Ministry of Finance.
The TCL is, by far, the dealer that pays more rents, overcoming alone, the values of the rents paid by the concessions in the ports of Aveiro, Lisbon, Setúbal and Sines.
The forecast for the end of the year points to the payment of EUR 15.746 million euros of revenues by TCL for the Leixões container terminal concession.
