TCL MAINTAINS A 9% GROWTH AT THE END OF OCTOBER 2014-11-04 In the first ten months of the year, the Leixões Container Terminal handled 550,132 TEU. In comparison with the same period last year, the accumulated growth reached 9% to a new record in the concession history. Between January and October, TCL handled 348,152 containers, 10% more than in the same period in 2013. In October, TCL kept the strong pace of activity, having handled a total of 37,428 containers, which amounted to 58,770 TEU. Numbers in line with that achieved in the same month of 2013. Two months before the end of the year, everything seems to be in line for TCL to reach another historic result, it is confirmed as the first national operator of container terminals (considering the traffic of import/export and discounted the transhipment movements). |
