TCL IMPLEMENTS MESSAGE EDI COREOR 2014-07-23 Pursuing its policy of technological development, TCL has just implemented the electronic transmission of exit permits for containers through the message edi Coreor (Container Release Order). Designed by International Transport Implementation Guidelines Group (ITIGG), an official subgroup of UN/EDIFACT Message Transport Design Group (JM4), to transmit permit instructions enabling the release of the full containers. The implementation of this message was made so that they can also be electronically treated to provide other services to containers, particularly customs and veterinary inspections and requests for connection/disconnection of refrigerated containers. With this implementation TCL takes another step to enable its customers and partners the use of electronic tools and thus enhance the efficiency and speed of the logistics chains. The first partner to implement this functionality along with TCL was MSC. |
