TCL participates at the 5th Luso-Spanish meeting of logistics, which will be held on Wednesday the 9th June, in Salamanca. This year’s edition is specially dedicated to food and agriculture Logistics. The program takes into consideration presentations of Portuguese and Spanish executives of companies directly involved in reception, handling, storage, transport and distribution of food and agriculture cargo activities, not only on the port side but also on the land side. The choice of the theme for this 4th Luso-Spanish meeting of logistics is the corollary of the previous editions, where the experiences and projects in the food and agriculture area had a prominent role. It pretends to represent as well the passage to the “next level” of the relationships between the ports and the Portuguese logistics operators and the corporate community of the Castilla-León region. TCL’s presence is fully justified, due to the strong bet of the Port of Leixões to affirm itself as one of the entry/exit doors to the external commerce of Castilla-León. But also because of the food and agriculture flow go well beyond the bulk, passing more and more by the trade of products of more added-value. And TCL assumes itself as the Container Terminal by excellence at the service of the neighboring Spanish region. The 4th Luso-Spanish meeting of logistics is a joined initiative of the Ports of Leixões and Aveiro and Zaldeza, the managing entity of the logistics platform of Salamanca.
