TCL ACCELERATES THE RHYTHM OF GROWTH 2014-10-06 In recent months, the TCL has been increasing continuously the rhythm of activity growth, hitting successive records. In September, the Leixões Container Terminal handled 54,794 TEU, representing a year on year gain of 14.6%. Considering the number of containers handled, the growth comparing to the same month last year was even more significant: 15.9%! With this and met the first three quarters of the year, TCL accumulates 491,373 TEU handled (310,773 containers), which is a brand new high, surpassing the 10.2% achieved in the first nine months of 2013. And so, at the entrance of the last quarter, it seems that all things will come together to TCL achieving, in 2014, a new high in container handling, consolidating its position as the largest container terminal in the trades of national import/export. |
