PORT OF LEIXÕES ORGANIZES SEMINAR OF MAGHREB

TCL will be represented on the 1st seminar of Maghreb, which takes place tomorrow at the Port of Leixões, in an organization by APDL. Representations of Morocco, Tunisia and Mauritania participate at the meeting, the first of four which integrate the initiative “The Port of Leixões and the Global Market”, with which the port administration pretends to help boost the economic relationships between Portugal and the economic regions of high growth potential, considered urgent for the future of the port. On the seminar of Maghreb executives of the National Agency of the Ports, and the Port of Casablanca, Morocco, the Ministry of Transports of Tunisia and the Cabinet of the Merchant Navy as well as the Ports from that country will all participate. The same will happen with the Port of Nouakchott, in Mauritania. The port of Algeciras will also be represented. TCL will also be an active part of the seminar, integrating the panel on “The flow of ports as a contribution for the success of the logistic chain”. The 1st. seminar of Maghreb will be held at the Port of Leixões on the 4th and the 5th March. The minister of Public Works, Transport and Communications will show up at the opening of the events. The next events integrated in the initiative “The Port of Leixões and the Global Market” will be dedicated to the PALOP, the Baltic and the Brazil.
