Lamia KERDJOUDJ-BELKAID appointed as new Secretary General of the Federation of European Private Port Operators (FEPORT)

On behalf of the General Assembly, the Executive Committee of FEPORT, the European organization representing the interests of the terminal operators and stevedoring companies has appointed Mrs Lamia KERDJOUDJ-BELKAID as the organization’s new Secretary General. Lamia KERDJOUDJ-BELKAID has a thorough knowledge of the functioning of EU institutions, a proven experience in stakeholders’ management and lobbying and a significant expertise regarding transport and port sectors. She has a professional experience of more than 18 years during which she held different positions within the maritime and logistics sector. Among others, she has been for more than seven year the Public Affairs manager of the French Shipowners’ Organization and had the opportunity to work on the three ERIKA Packages as well as on the Port packages. She has also been appointed as a senior expert and advisor in the framework of several European projects financed by different General Directorates of the European Commission. Since 2009, Lamia KERDJOUDJ-BELKAID has also promoted the interests of private companies and international institutions. Lamia KERDJOUDJ-BELKAID holds different Master Degrees in shipping, transport and logistics and British Literature. In 2008, she obtained an Executive MBA from ESSEC and Mannheim Business Schools.
