FEPORT WITH NEW INSTITUTIONAL WEBSITE 2014-12-10 The FEPORT - European Federation of Private Port Operators have from now on a new institutional website, www.feport.eu. The new website was presented during the organization's General Assembly in Brussels. With a more appealing look, the new site offers, besides information on FEPORT’s internal organization, comprehensive data on timeliness main topics on the maritime and port sector at European and international level, and also the documents which set out the positions of FEPORT on issues such as transport policy, port, maritime, social, safety and environment, among others. Complete the available information menu, a calendar of events of interest to the activity, an area for the media and of course the organization's contacts. The general meeting of FEPORT gathered, in Brussels, representatives, direct and indirect, of more than 1,700 port operators and stevedoring companies. At the meeting was also presented the "Roadmap" that will guide the activities of the federation in 2015. On the eve of the general meeting, the FEPORT welcomed as guests, representatives of the European Commission and the European Parliament. In his welcome speech, the President of FEPORT wished all the luck to the new Transport Commissioner and her staff and expressed the readiness of the port operators to collaborate with the different EU institutions. |
