“Dorothea Rickmers” stood out among the 29 ships which called the Leixões Container Terminal on the 11th week. It was the ship which more containers handled and the one with the best productivity at the operations, as well.
“Dorothea Rickmers” arrived at Leixões on the 16th of March and began the operations at TCL at 2:20 pm. It sailed to the next port the following day, after the last container has been stowed, precisely at 11:48 am.
During that time (and discounting the shift between 0:00 am and 8:00 am), “Dorothea Rickmers” discharged/loaded 1,279 TEU at an average rhythm of 60 movements/hour of effective work.
“Dorothea Rickmers” was fairly considered the Ship of the 11th Week at TCL.
