APDL HAD A PROFIT OF MORE THAN 10 MILLIONS IN 2011

The Administration of the Port of Leixões reached last year a net profit of 10.3 million Euros. An absolute record.
Regarding last year, APDL increased its profits in 59%.
The increase in the turnover and the reduction of the operational costs contributed highly to this record. The income increased 6% up to 45.6 million Euros and the personnel and the External Services and Supply burden went backwards 14%.
The increase in the handled cargo, reaching in 2011 a record volume, contributed highly to the good economic and financial performance of APDL.
On the last four years, APDL invested 127 million Euros, only recurring to their own means and to communitarian incentives.
