APDL will have at its disposal a 5000 square meters area on the future dry port of the logistics platform of Salamanca in Castela-Leão. At the same time, the port administration of Leixões will share the capital of Zaldesa, the entity which manages the logistics platform of Salamanca, in an unprecedented movement in the Iberian Peninsula. As a setback, Zaldesa will operate a craft of 4,800 square meters on the 1st polo of the logistics platform of Leixões. The pre-contract which sets the conditions of these crossed trades was signed on the 30th of May in Leixões, by the chairmen of APDL and Zaldesa, culminating a process which had already started in 2008. APDL and Zaldesa bet in this way on the reinforcement of commercial trade between the corresponding regions and, in a concerted action to transform Leixões, Salamanca and the E-80 axle, a door of entrance/exit of cargo of the Iberian Peninsula and Europe. |
