ANOTHER WEEK ABOVE 15,000 TEU 2014-12-02 And another day above 3,000 TEU! Ended the best way the month of November at the Leixões Container Terminal. On the week no. 48, comprised between 24 and 30 November, TCL handled a total of 15,406 TEU (9,668 containers)! 32 ships were operated. The best day of the week - in handled units - was Wednesday, November 26. Then were counted 2.010 containers! To which corresponded 3,329 TEU! Two very expressive numbers, the result of eight ships operation. The balance of the week no. 48 is completed with reference to the container handling at the container yard: 3,649 were received and 5,111 were dispatched, by land, totalling more than 8,760 containers. With this result, and when there is only a month away to close the year 2014, chances are that it will not necessary to wait for December 31 to set a new historic record for the TCL and the Port of Leixões. |
