ALMOST 11,000 TEU HANDLED ON WEEK NO. 33 2014-08-20 On week no. 33, comprised between 11 and 17 August, the Leixões Container Terminal was called by 22 ships. This resulted in the movement of 6,992 containers, equivalent to 10,970 TEU, at the quay front. Sunday, 17, was the best day of the week, with the operation of six ships and the discharging/loading of 1,604 containers, equivalent to 2,715 TEU. In the container yard were still handled over 5,952 containers, among the 3,012 that arrived by truck/train and the 2,940 that also left by land. |
