Albeit the record of TEU in 2009 has already been reached, each day enlarges the new record which will be set in the end of the current year.
The 52nd week, the last complete week of the year, has contributed to that very scope with 8,148 TEU more (5,123 containers).
On Christmas week TCL received and operated 45 ships. And by land there was still time to receive 2,630 more containers and to deliver 2,479, totalizing 5,109 units handled on yard.
On quay, the busiest day was the first of the week, the 20th December. Eight ships were operated and 1,374 containers were handled (2,007 TEU) another day above the 2,000 barrier!
