“Tove Maersk” was the Ship of the Week at TCL on the 9th week. It deserves the distinction due to the fact of being the ship of the Danish ship-owner which more containers handled during the week, at the Container Terminal of Leixões. A number of containers equivalent to 1,086 TEU. But the distinction would be equally deserved if the productivity of the operations of loading/discharging were considered. The containers were handled in 10 hours…and a minute. Which means an average rhythm of a movement each 50 seconds! “Tove Maersk” began the operations at 1:29 pm on the 25th February and at 11:30 pm the last container was onboard. If a picture is worth more than a thousand words, this figure means a lot about TCL’s operational capacity.
